About nominating

We’re delighted that you’re thinking about nominating a group for a King’s Award for Voluntary Service! It’s a great way to recognise an outstanding local volunteer group.

To nominate, you will need to:

Step 1:	Use our eligibility criteria to make sure the group is eligible for an award and you are eligible to nominate.
Step 2:	Set up a KAVS nominator account – it only takes a minute.
Step 3:	Get two separate letters of support from two additional people.
Step 4:	Complete the online nomination form.  This will include group contact information, a summary of what the group does, who its beneficiaries are, the benefits of its work and what makes the volunteers impressive.
